Notice what needs to change, but focus on the good
Take a hard, honest look at yourself and your life and note what you would want to improve moving forward. Set goals and make a plan on how you are going to achieve them. When setting your goals, find inspiration in the person that you are and how far you have come.
Make yourself a priority
A great way to do this is to start saying “no”. If something doesn’t fit in with the goals in your life or the vision that you have for yourself, say “no.” You don’t need to give any explanation. By saying “no” to things you will free up time and energy to fill your life with more things that are a definite “yes”!
Have grace with yourself
There will be setbacks when you try to conquer the goals you have set for yourself. It is grace and perseverance that will set you up for success. Forgive yourself for a misstep, learn from it and continue on your journey.
Appreciate what you have
“Appreciate what you have, while working for what you want.” Set lofty goals for yourself, but be thankful for your life now the lessons that you are learning. It is all making you the person that you are meant to be.

Challenge yourself to learn something new… take up a new hobby, learn a new language, create a do-it-yourself project or try a new sport.

Nosh on yummy, nutritious, food that are good for your mind and body. Try to cook most of your meals so that you are in control of the ingredients that you ingest. YES it is okay to splurge occasionally. Deprivation is not the answer to a healthy diet… moderation is.
Follow a Routine
Establishing a Morning Routine and a Night Routine will help you begin and end your day with ease. Take a few moments to stretch, breathe, and set intentions for your day in the morning. In the evening, relax with a hot cup of herbal tea, a journal, and breathe work.
Winding down with a nighttime routine will aid in a restful night. It is imperative that you get enough rest to feel your best. Sometimes this isn’t always easy, but your health, mood, and productivity will be better when you get enough shut eye.
Find something that you enjoy doing that will relieve stress. Meditation, exercise, journaling, a vent session with a friend, or therapy are all proven to lower stress.
Slow down, breathe
Take time to slow down your day. Breathe. Relax. There is no need to rush. There is time. You will get everything done that you need to get done.
The past is passed. The things that you did in the past that you wish you could’ve done differently are there to serve as a learning tool for you to use going forward. Take those thoughts and lessons and learn from them to be the best that you can be.

Tell those that you love just how much you care about them and how important they are to you. Thank them for their presence in your life. It is easy to take these feelings for granted by they should be expressed. Spread love!
